1. The following person should not use this medicine, and should not be applied to these areas:

  1) Patients who overreact to chlorhexidine formulations

  2) Brain, spinal cord, ear (inner ear, middle ear, outer ear) (If used directly in the auditory nerve or central nerve, hearing loss and neurological disorders can occur)

  3) Mucosal surfaces such as vagina, bladder, and mouth (reports of shock, early symptoms include vomiting, discomfort, cold sweat, dizziness, stuffiness, difficulty breathing, and flare).

  4) Eyes

  5) Festering or suppurative affected areas


2. The following person should consult a doctor, dentist or pharmacist before using this medicine:

  1) A person who has experienced allergic symptoms (e.g., rash, redness, itching, festering, etc.) caused by drugs or cosmetics

  2) A person who or whose family member is allergic

  3) A person under medical treatment

  4) A person with extensive affected areas

  5) A person with severe wounds or burns

  6) Around the pudenda area just before delivery (it may have an adverse effect on the eyes of newborns)


3. Stop using this medicine immediately and consult with a doctor, dentist, or pharmacist in the following case. Bring this attached document to the consultation, if possible.

  1) Shock: Observe sufficiently because shock symptoms may occur rarely. Possible side effects include vomiting, discomfort, cold sweat, stuffiness, difficulty breathing, seizures, etc.

  2) Hyperactivity: Occasionally, symptoms of rash, flare, hives, itching, edema, etc. appear

  3) When symptoms are not improved after 5 to 6 days of administration


4. Other precautions when using this medicine

  1) Follow the specified usage and dosage.

  2) When used for children, it shall be used under the guidance and supervision of the guardian.

  3) To prevent shock symptoms, the history of overreaction to chlorhexidine agents and whether the person is hypersensitive to that ingredient should be sufficiently checked.

  4) Use this medicine only for external areas and do not swallow.

  5) Be careful not to get it into your eyes. If it gets in, wash it with water. If the symptoms are severe, seek treatment from an eye doctor. 

  6) Since sterilization is aggravated by organic substances such as serum and pus or soap, pay attention to the concentration and time of use. If soap is used, wash it off clean beforehand.

  7) Clean distilled water shall be used for dilution since insoluble salts are produced by anions.

  8) Be careful not to inhale the fume when using it extensively or for a long period of time.

  9) Wash the wounded area and surrounding contamination before using it.


5. Storage precautions

  1) Keep it out of reach of children.

  2) Avoid direct sunlight and store it in a cool place with less moisture as much as possible.

  3) To prevent misuse and to preserve quality, do not store in containers other than the original.
